About Ms. Adhikari
We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Anusha Adhikari, FNP, as a new member of our healthcare team at One Health Medical Care. She brings extensive experience across primary care, urgent care, and critical care settings, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi, Ms. Adhikari emphasizes culturally aware, empathetic, and evidence-driven care, ensuring each patient feels heard and supported.
Her clinical training includes rotations in primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, women’s health, and community clinics, which strengthened her decision-making and clinical skills. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in critical care and stepdown units, gaining hands-on experience managing both acute and chronic conditions, performing assessments, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.
Ms. Adhikari earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from George Mason University, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Health Science from Towson University. She holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, and the NIH Stroke Scale and is actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. Adhikari enjoys engaging in community health initiatives, educating others on wellness, and mentoring upcoming healthcare providers. She also has a passion for traveling, trying new cuisines, and gardening.
